These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Grind City Hauling website and booking service, and the junk removal services we provide in the Memphis, Tennessee metro area. By using our website or booking a pickup, you agree to these Terms.
Grind City Hauling provides junk removal and hauling for homes and businesses. You can request a photo-based estimate and book a pickup through our website. Estimates are good-faith quotes based on the photos and information you provide; the final price is confirmed by our crew on-site before any work begins.
Your photo estimate is a good-faith quote. Our crew confirms the final price on-site before touching anything — if the load matches your photos, the price holds. If there is more than pictured, we will re-quote and you can accept or decline at no charge. Payment is due when the job is complete, after you've looked everything over. We accept card, cash, and check. No deposits are required.
You may cancel your pickup free of charge up to 2 hours before your scheduled arrival window, using the cancellation link in your confirmation message or by contacting us. If a scheduling conflict arises on our end, we will contact you promptly to reschedule.
You agree to provide safe access to the items being removed (gates unlocked, pets secured). Someone 18 or older should be present during the pickup, or you may authorize an unattended curbside pickup in your booking notes.
We cannot haul hazardous materials, including but not limited to: wet paint, chemicals, asbestos, fuels, oils, and other regulated substances. If you're unsure about an item, contact us before your pickup.
When you book a pickup and provide consent, we send appointment-related text messages — booking confirmations, appointment reminders, and cancellation or schedule updates. Message frequency varies based on your bookings. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
Reply STOP to any message to opt out at any time. Reply HELP for help, or email us at the address below. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any service — if you opt out, we'll reach you by your chosen alternative contact method.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your phone number and opt-in data.
We take care in and around your property and are responsible for damage directly caused by our crew's negligence during a pickup. We are not responsible for pre-existing damage or for conditions outside our control. Our total liability for any claim relating to a pickup is limited to the amount you paid for that pickup, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Once items are removed from your property, they become the property of Grind City Hauling. We dispose of, donate, or recycle items at our discretion and in accordance with local regulations.
You agree to provide accurate information when using our booking service and not to misuse the website (including submitting false bookings or interfering with its operation).
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Effective date" above shows when they were last revised. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee. Any disputes will be handled in the courts of Shelby County, Tennessee.
